Infants who don't get enough attention from their mothers tend to end up as narcissists, and these are what authoritarian politicians are usually made of. Then there's the children who are told mommy loves them only when they do what mommy wants. When the society is bathed in fear (e.g., Corona), these tend to need someone to rescue them and tell them what to do. In summary, a society which doesn't have enough time and respect for their children, is likely to end up under tyranny, sooner or later.
